Very formal wallpaper paired with modern paint colours and simple furnishings. And a picture of William Shatner up on the wall. I couldn't stop looking at everything!

Earlier this morning, Jack & Lois shared on their Facebook page that they will be closing their restaurant after Super Crawl weekend. Jack & Lois has been a James Street North staple for nearly seven years.

Pete & Kay, opposite the Westdale Tim Hortons, has been in the pipeline since spring 2015 . Owners had hoped to be open for November 2017, and they were taking private party reservations for December. (That sign is still up in P&K's front window.) No definitive word on whether it will open anytime soon.
